About

An avant-garde world percussion artist and teacher with over 20 years of performing experience who is seeking to brew the most turbulent rhythm tea of all.
Based in Humboldt county, they perform and have performed locally and nationally with groups and artists such as Burat Wangi, Volta, Eighteen Squared, Concord Blue Devils, Santa Clara Vanguard, RCC, Black Knights, Emersons, and others.
Their teachers include Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri, Randy Gloss, I Nyoman Wenten, Andrew Grueschow, Alex Snydman, Houman Pourmedhi, Beatrice Lawluvi, Aashish Khan, Lozell Henderson, Sean Vega, Scott Johnson, Murray Gusseck, Brian Perez, Tim Jackson, and Neelamjit Dhillon.

They attended the College of Creative Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara for music composition and have both a Bachelors and Masters degree from California Institute of the Arts.
In addition to their extensive performance resume, they also teach private individual and group lessons remotely and in person for world percussion and marching percussion. They have also presented numerous percussion clinics and workshops in various high school settings as well as most recently for the Percussive Arts Society's Day of Percussion in Lake Elsinore, CA in both 2017 and 2018.

They currently teaches private percussion lessons online and in Humbolt county in California as well as composing/recording music for various projects and collaborations with local artists.
